Product bundles and gift with purchase for WooCommerce — two proven ways to raise average order value: selling in bundles and gifting a product above a set amount. Both work without a separate “bundle” product type and without rewriting the theme.

Product bundles
A set of two or more products with a special price, a percentage, or a fixed discount amount. A “Frequently bought together” block appears on the page of every product in the bundle: images, names, prices, the total before and after the discount — and a button that adds the whole bundle to the cart in one click. The discount shows as a separate line in the cart and order totals, so the buyer sees exactly what they saved.
A bundle triggers as soon as all its products are in the cart, no matter how they got there. Two full bundles give a double discount, and the discount never exceeds the bundle’s value.
Gift with purchase
A cart total threshold above which a gift product is added automatically. Quantity is fixed at 1, the line can’t be removed by hand, and as soon as the total drops below the threshold, the gift disappears on its own. The cart shows a hint like “add N more and get …”, and a “Gift” tag appears on the cart line and in the order.
Order-total discounts and N+1 deals
A tiered discount on the order total: “from 2000 ₴, 5% off; from 5000 ₴, 10% off”. The highest tier the cart has reached applies, lower tiers are not added on top; the discount is a percentage or a fixed amount. The cart shows a hint like “add 340 ₴ more and get 10% off”.
“Buy N, get M” deals: 2+1, 3+1, the second item at 50% off. Units are lined up from the most expensive down, and the cheapest one in each group is discounted, so an expensive jacket never goes free next to a pair of socks. A rule covers the whole catalogue, chosen categories (subcategories included) or chosen products; it can skip products already on sale and cap how many times it fires per cart. Deals and the order-total discount can stack, or only the single biggest saving applies.

Compatibility
Classic and block cart and checkout (Store API) recalculate the bundle discount, the gift, the order-total discount and N+1 deals the same way. HPOS (its own order tables) is supported.
What’s free and what’s Pro
Free — forever: one “Frequently bought together” bundle with a special price or discount, a block on the product page, adding the bundle to the cart in one click, a separate discount line in the cart and order, one gift threshold with auto-add, auto-remove and a “N left until your gift” hint, one tiered order-total discount and two N+1 deals.
Pro: as many bundles, gift thresholds, order-total discounts and N+1 deals as you like, conditions by category, tag and buyer role, a schedule for when the offer runs (from / to a date), a promotion label on the product page, a choice of several gifts, and support for variations — both inside bundles and as the gift.

The trial only starts on your click
A fresh install is just the free version: no Pro features switch on by themselves or go dark after a week. If you want to try Pro, click “Try Pro for 7 days”, enter your e-mail — and get a genuine 7-day key by mail. No card is needed, nothing is charged, one trial per install.

Technical requirements
WordPress 5.6+, WooCommerce 6.0+ (tested up to 10.7), PHP 7.4+. Interface in Ukrainian and English. The licence runs for a year (1–5 years) and includes updates and support for that period.
Why a store needs this
Bundles work wherever a product is rarely bought alone: a phone and a case, a drill and a set of bits, a cream and a remover. The buyer already knows this, but won’t go hunting for the second item in the catalogue — so a “bought together” block right on the product card raises average order value without any discount on the main product.
Gift with purchase is a different tool: it doesn’t raise the order by itself, it pulls the cart up to a threshold. Someone with 850 UAH in their cart, seeing “150 UAH short of your gift”, is more likely to add something than to leave.
What the buyer sees
A block with a second product (or several) and the bundle price appears under the price on the product card. You can see how much each item costs separately and how much together, so the saving reads without a calculator.
In the cart, the bundle discount goes as a separate line in the totals, rather than being “smeared” across product prices. That matters for trust: the buyer sees the same price they saw in the catalogue, plus an explicit “Bundle discount” line.
The gift, once the total reaches the threshold, adds itself to the cart at a zero price with a tag showing it’s a gift.
What the admin gets
A bundle is assembled from existing catalogue products: you choose the composition, set the bundle price or a discount percentage. No separate “bundle products” are created — the catalogue doesn’t get cluttered.
For the gift, you set an amount threshold and the product itself. A bundle’s scope can be limited by category or by period, so an offer ends by itself, without you having to step in on a Sunday evening.
How it works, step by step
1. You create a bundle: the main product, companion products, the bundle price.
2. The buyer sees the block on the card and adds the bundle to the cart in one move.
3. The module checks the cart’s contents — the cart itself, not what was clicked. So the bundle triggers even when the buyer assembled the same products one at a time.
4. The discount is added as a separate line in the totals.
5. If the total crosses the gift threshold, the gift is added automatically; if it drops below, it’s removed automatically too.
Free version and Pro
The free version: one bundle, one gift threshold, one order-total discount and two N+1 deals. No time limits and no ads in the admin.
Pro lifts the limits on the number of rules and adds category, tag and role conditions, a promotion schedule, a promotion label on the product, a choice of gifts and variations.
Pricing
A Pro licence is 990 UAH, per domain. The licence runs for a year: once it ends, the module keeps working, only updates and support stop.
Under the hood
The discount is added as an ordinary WooCommerce fee/discount, so it’s calculated right alongside the rest of the totals, and lands correctly in the order, in the buyer’s e-mail, and in exports — rather than only existing visually in the cart.
The module doesn’t create phantom products and doesn’t change catalogue prices. Remove the module — prices stay exactly what they were, no database cleanup needed.
How to install
1. Upload the archive via “Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin” and activate it.
2. WooCommerce → “Bundles and gifts” — bundles are created here.
3. Create your first bundle: the main product, companion products, the bundle price.
4. If you need a gift, set the amount threshold and the gift product. For an order-total discount or a 2+1 deal, enable a card in the “Cart discounts” section.
5. Check on a test order that the discount became a separate line in the totals.
Version history
1.2.0 — cart discounts: tiered order-total discounts (a percentage or an amount) and N+M deals with a per-cart limit, categories or products and excluding products on sale. Choose whether discounts stack or only the best one applies. A “spend N more for a discount” hint in the classic and block cart. Pro adds roles, a schedule and a promotion label on the product.
1.1.0 — the trial no longer starts on its own: a fresh install stays the free version until the owner asks for Pro themselves. Keys are verified on our server (activation on save, a daily check, a 14-day offline allowance). Pro fields are shown greyed out in place with an explanation. “Save settings” no longer wipes the key and saved Pro values. One unobtrusive notice, and only after a bundle discount or gift has actually triggered.
1.0.0 — first release.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create a separate product type for a bundle?
No. A bundle is a rule layered over ordinary products: no separate product type is created, and there's no need to rewrite the theme.
When does the bundle discount trigger?
As soon as all the bundle's products are in the cart, no matter how they got there. Two full bundles give a double discount, and the discount never exceeds the bundle's value.
What happens to the gift if the buyer shrinks their cart?
As soon as the total drops below the threshold, the gift disappears from the cart on its own. While the threshold is met, gift quantity is fixed at 1 and the line can't be removed by hand.
Is block cart supported?
Yes. Classic and block cart and checkout (Store API) recalculate the discount and the gift the same way, and HPOS is supported.
Can I limit an offer to certain dates?
Yes, in Pro: a schedule for when it runs, rule priority, conditions by category, tag and buyer role, and a choice of several gifts.
How is a 2+1 deal different from a bundle?
A bundle is specific products together at a special price. A 2+1 deal covers any products from the catalogue, a category or a list: out of every three units the cheapest one is free, and an expensive item never goes free next to a cheap one.
Do the order-total discount and a 2+1 deal stack?
Your choice. By default N+M deals apply first and the order-total discount is calculated on what is left. You can switch to "only one, the biggest saving".
