Suziria Group — a holding portal for a Ukrainian family group in the pet industry
Корпоративний холдинговий портал української family group компаній: Suziria Ukraine, Suziria Brands, MasterZoo, Suziria Charity — історія, бізнес-юніти, експорт у 11 країн, мапа офісів, борд, медіа та контактна форма.
Suziria Group is a Ukrainian family group of companies that has spent more than thirty years shaping a culture of pet care. Within it sit a national distributor of pet goods, an export business unit, the largest pet-store retail chain, a chain of grooming salons, and a charitable arm. The site’s task was to bring all these businesses together into a single holding portal: show the group’s scale and history, introduce every business unit, its board, its geographic footprint, its media presence, and provide an entry point for cooperation, partnerships and press.
Context and brief
Before this project, Suziria Group’s public image existed only in pieces — on the individual business units’ own sites (suziria.ua, suziriabrands.pet, masterzoo.ua, people.suziria.ua) and across dozens of publications in Forbes, NV, Vogue and Interfax. There was no single page where an investor, a retail partner, a candidate for a senior role, or a journalist could grasp in two minutes what the company is, what it’s made of, and where it operates.
We built a holding portal on WordPress that works as an “umbrella” for every business in the group: one long homepage that carries the reader from the company’s history since 1993 all the way to a contact form, plus a separate page for the social mission and contacts, plus a full English-language version for international partners and potential export markets.

What was built
- A WordPress site with a custom theme,
suziriawp— no public page builder, with typography built fully by hand to the brand guidelines. - A holding long-read portal instead of a multi-page structure — the right call for a business model where each unit already lives on its own domain.
- Full UA / EN bilingualism, with every block translated and its own URL locale,
/en/. - An extended “Our History” timeline from 1993 to 2025 with anchors on the key milestones of the group’s growth.
- An interactive map of Ukraine with “Offices / MasterZoo / Suziria Ukraine / Suziria Brands” tabs and a list of specific office addresses.
- A board slider with biographies: co-owners, Supervisory Board members, independent directors.
- A dynamic “Latest news” block with covers from publications in NV, Vogue, Forbes, Interfax, RAU.
- A contact form with validation, file attachment and anti-spam protection.
History, mission and the group’s DNA
A holding company’s story has to start with its history — without it a family group of companies simply doesn’t read as one. We laid out a timeline from 1994 to today: the year the first distribution company launched, the emergence of MasterZoo, the expansion into foreign markets, the launch of the group’s own feed manufacturing, the arrival of the Pura professional cosmetics line, and awards from UAnimals and “UP.100 The Power of Women”. Each point on the timeline is its own anchor with its own description, so the reader isn’t forced to scroll through everything in one go.
Below the timeline sits a short block on mission, vision, values and CSR, working as a “quick DNA card” for anyone who arrived from a press kit or a job listing. Above the section, a continuous horizontal marquee lists three defining traits of the group (“full-cycle in-house manufacturing / the #1 operator in pet-goods distribution / the largest pet retailer”), which sets the pace of the page and repeats the key takeaways.

A separate page for the social mission
CSR and animal-welfare work at Suziria Group runs deeper than a standard footer block — it’s systematic work with foundations, shelters, volunteers, government bodies and media. That’s why it gets its own page, /suziria-sotsialnyj-vplyv/, with its own hero, a description of programmes, key projects and partners. On the homepage a lavender Suziria Charity card with a “Learn more” CTA points to it.

Business units: four separate worlds on one page
The hardest part of the holding portal was to present four completely different businesses (B2B distribution, export, retail, charity) so users never confuse them. We solved it with separate coloured “capsules” on the homepage: each unit has its own logo with its own brand colour, its own short description, a “Visit site” CTA and social icons. The colours trace back to each logo: Ukraine — blue, Brands — orange, Charity — pink, MasterZoo — green.
Suziria Ukraine — the national distributor
This is the group’s “heart” business unit: a distribution pipeline with 30 supplier partners from Europe, Asia and the Americas, a network of 6,000+ retail partner outlets, and a portfolio of in-house brands — Savory, Half&Half, Special One, Pet Fashion, Provet, Priroda, Puramur. We placed these brand logos in a marble strip along the bottom — a subtle touch that quickly tells a B2B partner how many in-house SKUs stand behind the company.

Suziria Brands — exporting to 11 countries
The export unit gets its own block with an illustrative map of Europe: the countries the group’s brands were exported to in 2025 are highlighted. The SUZIRIA Brands logo appears in its orange brand colours, alongside a concise paragraph about the export model and a CTA to the dedicated site, suziriabrands.pet.

Suziria Charity — the charitable arm
Instead of a small footer badge, there’s a full-screen capsule with a mural, “Koshаrna with dogs” (a symbol of the fight for adoption), a separate pink Suziria Charity logo and a CTA to the detailed page. Four dot indicators on the right beneath the mural act as a slider for other illustrations of charity projects.

MasterZoo and MasterZoo Grooming
The largest block covers two retail formats at once: 200 pet stores in 38 cities plus an online store (lavender capsule), and Ukraine’s largest chain of grooming salons (green capsule). Each capsule has its own CTA, a link to its dedicated site, and social icons. On the right — a full-screen slider of store interiors with 16 dot indicators.

Geography: a map instead of a list
Instead of a tabular list of offices and stores, we built an interactive SVG map of Ukraine with tabs — “Offices / MasterZoo / Suziria Ukraine / Suziria Brands”. Switching a tab highlights the regions with that presence, and a text list of addresses tied to each city expands below it. It’s more flexible than a static list: when the company enters a new region, the designer simply recolours it in the brand blue — no table edits required.

Board, team, media and job-listing entry points
For a holding company of this scale it matters to show who stands behind the business. We built a board slider with 7 cards — studio-style photos (white jacket, dark backdrop): the front card carries a name and title, the neighbouring ones show only the portrait. On swipe, the active card smoothly “grows” from a compact format into a large right-hand frame, giving a middle ground between a plain list and a full about page.

Media: 6 publications in a branded grid
A separate “Latest news” block on the homepage shows a grid of 6 cards with covers, a source (NV / Vogue / Forbes / Interfax / RAU / Nash Kyiv) and a date. Each card links to the full press piece. This solves two things at once: it shows the brand’s media weight to a journalist checking the company, and it gives a candidate the sense that there’s a live public conversation around the company.

Contacts and entry points into the business
The contact form is the final point of the long-read. On the left, a reminder of the corporate email feedback@suziria.ua; on the right, a full form with name / phone / email / comment fields plus the ability to attach a file (useful for journalists sending press releases, or partners sending presentations). A separate checkbox for personal-data-processing consent links to the privacy policy. The same block is repeated on its own page, /kontakty/, for direct entries from search.

Responsiveness and the EN version
The site is fully responsive — at 390px the nav menu collapses into a hamburger, every business-unit capsule rebuilds into a vertical stack with the logo on top, and the map and board slider switch to “one card per screen”. The /en/ locale is a complete translation of every section, with its own SEO structure, working as the entry point for Suziria Brands’ international partners.
Result
We gave Suziria Group a single “umbrella” for the holding company that serves three roles at once: marketing (history, mission, media presence), sales (a contact form, separate CTAs for every business unit) and HR communication (job-listing entry points and the board). On the technical side — WordPress with a custom theme, no unnecessary plugins, full bilingualism and a clean SEO structure. In this home-portal format, the site reads in about two minutes of scrolling — exactly as long as a first encounter with the holding company needs to take.
