monophone — an Apple store on Horoshop with pay-in-parts and Trade-in
Building on a closed platform: pay-in-parts with 5 banks and an owner editor, a new product page, a Trade-in calculator, own Google reviews, SEO for 81 categories and a mobile version.
monophone (monophone.com.ua) is a Kyiv store selling new and used Apple devices — iPhone, MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods — plus accessories, PlayStation, power stations and Dyson. The store runs on Horoshop. The owner wanted the site to sell like the big chains: pay-in-parts from several banks right on the product page, Trade-in, extended warranty and a proper mobile version. Horoshop is a closed platform, so we built all of this with our own scripts. We have been looking after the site since late August 2026 and made more than 300 changes in two months.
Technology stack
Horoshop plus our own JavaScript modules, hosted on our server and connected in the site settings with one line: the pay-in-parts calculator, the product page, the mobile menu, the home page, Trade-in and reviews. The owner changes banks, terms, texts and warranty settings in our editor without a developer. Banners are built as HTML templates and rendered to images.

Pay in parts with five banks
The product page shows how much per month the device costs and over how many payments. In the calculator the buyer picks a bank — PrivatBank, monobank, PUMB, A-Bank or Sense Bank — and the number of payments, and the monthly amount updates at once. Extended warranty can be added in the same window. The chosen bank and term go into the order, so the manager doesn’t have to ask again. Banks with no first payment get their own badge.

A new product page
We rebuilt the desktop product page to the approved design. Next to the photo are the payment counts for each bank; beside the buttons are pay-in-parts and “Buy with Trade-in”; below them are a warranty block with an extended warranty switch, a gift and add-on accessories. The pay-in-parts button stays put when the buyer switches colour or storage, and a link shared from a phone opens the exact variant chosen.

Categories and SEO
Categories show model tiles with photos and a Trade-in banner above the products. We wrote unique SEO blocks for all 81 catalogue categories — how to choose, who it suits, purchase terms and FAQs with FAQ markup — and add them straight away for new sections. Apple product descriptions now follow one format with official renders.

Trade-in and buyback calculator
We replaced a paid calculator widget with our own. The buyer chooses a trade-in with a top-up or a cash buyback, then the model, storage, SIM type and battery health, sees an estimated value straight away and leaves a request. The owner edits prices and the battery discount for each model.

Our own Google reviews
Instead of a paid reviews widget there is our own block with the store’s Google Maps reviews: rating, buyer photos, the store’s replies, “Show more” and a “Leave a review” button. Next to it is a popup with the store’s social links.

Checkout and information pages
Checkout has a “Complete your order” block: extended warranty for each device separately and cases for the exact model in the cart. We also added a “Clear cart” button, which Horoshop doesn’t have. Seven information pages — delivery and payment, warranty, phone condition, pay in parts, exchanges and returns, the pickup point and About — now share one style.

The mobile version and speed
On phones there is a dark menu with category tiles and Trade-in and Buyback buttons, a bottom bar with cart and favourites counters, model tiles in categories and smooth transitions between them. We removed the flash of Horoshop’s default look while pages load and set the site up for iPad. On the product page PageSpeed rose from 50 to 60 on mobile and from 59 to 72 on desktop.
Summary
On a closed platform we gave the store what the big chains usually have: pay-in-parts with five banks and an editor for the owner, a new product page, Trade-in and buyback, its own reviews, add-ons at checkout, SEO for every category and a mobile version — and we keep improving the site at the owner’s request.
