LUKIBEST — a redesign and WooCommerce store for access panels
A redesign for an invisible access panel maker: a custom theme replacing The7 and WPBakery, a WooCommerce catalogue with size variations and checkout, a Merchant Center feed and a move with no lost links.
LUKIBEST (lukibest.com.ua) is a Chernihiv manufacturer of hidden access panels for tiled and painted walls and floor hatches, in business since 2016. The old site ran on the The7 theme with WPBakery, Elementor and a dozen plugins. We redesigned it from an approved Figma mock-up, wrote a custom theme, moved all the content across, rebuilt the catalogue on WooCommerce with full checkout and launched the new site on the client’s hosting without losing any old links.
Technology stack
WordPress + WooCommerce with a custom theme in place of The7 and the page builders. The home page blocks are edited through our own fields engine in admin tabs. Forms run on Contact Form 7, SEO on Yoast; the site generates its own Google Merchant Center product feed, and product pages carry Product structured data. Open Sans type with an orange accent on light grey.

The home page
Right under the first screen sit the manufacturer’s key points: own production, custom sizes in 4 days, free delivery from 3 panels and a 5-year warranty. Then come categories, new arrivals, special offers, a short company intro, delivery and warranty, reviews with installation photos, and a call to send the opening’s dimensions.

The catalogue on WooCommerce
At first the catalogue was a simple list with an enquiry form, but the client wanted a proper checkout: cart, details, payment. So we moved products and categories to WooCommerce on the same URLs, leaving product links unchanged. Each panel size became its own variation with its own price and SKU, picked from a styled dropdown. For custom sizes and products without a fixed price, the product page has a quote button with an enquiry form.

Cart and checkout
Checkout is split into three steps: cart, details, done. We cut WooCommerce’s extra fields down to first name, last name, phone and an optional email, and reduced delivery to two options: pickup in Chernihiv or Nova Poshta at carrier rates. Payment is on delivery or by bank transfer to the business account.

Moving the content
The old pages were built from WPBakery shortcodes the new theme doesn’t understand, so the pages would have shown raw text instead of content. We wrote a converter that turns those shortcodes into plain markup: text, photos, buttons and galleries render in the new design, and photos open in a lightbox.

A launch with nothing lost
We built the new site on our staging server and then moved it to the client’s hosting with a PHP upgrade. We checked all 48 old URLs: each one redirects to its new page or product. The old robots.txt, which hid part of the site from search, was replaced with a correct one, and the domain’s email got SPF and DMARC.
The mobile version
The layout is checked across the full range from 1920 to 320 px with no horizontal scrolling: on phones the menu folds into a burger next to the phone number and cart.
Summary
We delivered the redesign from the Figma mock-up, a custom theme replacing The7 and the page builders, the full content move, a WooCommerce catalogue with variations and checkout, a Merchant Center feed, the move to the client’s hosting with redirects for old URLs, and ongoing support.
