Oleksiy Kravchenko — a website for a Kyiv private SEO specialist
A site that sells SEO services: a Figma build, a custom WordPress theme with block toggles, UA and RU, service and case study pages, structured data, Google reviews and a move to the client's hosting.
Oleksiy Kravchenko (privateseo-kravchenko.com.ua) is a Kyiv-based private SEO specialist with over 9 years of experience and 155+ sites promoted. His site has to sell SEO services by itself, so it is long, dense with content and fully marked up for Google. We built it from a Figma design, wrote a custom WordPress theme in Ukrainian and Russian, moved it to the client’s hosting and connected the domain, and we keep handling his changes.
Technology stack
WordPress with a custom theme, no page builders and no ACF. Every page block is edited through our own fields engine and switched on or off with a toggle, while the header, footer and popups are configured once on the home page. Languages run on Polylang (Ukrainian by default, Russian with transliterated URLs), forms on Contact Form 7, SEO on Yoast plus our own structured data: Person, ProfessionalService with a rating, services and FAQ. The site serves images as WebP automatically.

The home page
The home page has 18 blocks and is built as an argument for the client: what a private SEO specialist helps with, strengths, clients, services, case studies with traffic growth, work stages, a comparison with agencies, prices, Google reviews, tools, FAQ and a form. The client’s long texts don’t break the layout: blocks rearrange themselves when there are more items or longer text than the design had.

Google reviews
The reviews block can pull reviews from the Google Business profile through the Places API with caching; until there is an API key, reviews are added manually in the admin. The link goes to the Google Maps profile itself so reviews can be checked.

Enquiries
“Free consultation” buttons across the site open the same popup form, and next to the first-screen photo sit phone, Telegram, WhatsApp and Viber links.

Inner pages
Each of the five services has its own page built from the same set of blocks, plus About, a portfolio with a page for every case study, reviews, prices, contacts, an SEO course and the blog. Every page has an “SEO text” tab with headings, lists and tables, so the client can add copy for search queries himself.

Launch
We built the site on our staging server, then moved it to the client’s hosting and switched the domain at his registrar. We laid the client’s Google Docs copy out across the blocks and translated it into the second language, and we keep making changes from his lists.
The mobile version
On phones the header shrinks to the logo, language switcher and burger, the first screen goes single-column, and the long intro folds under “Show more”.
Summary
We delivered the Figma build, a custom WordPress theme with block toggles, Ukrainian and Russian versions, service and case study pages, SEO copy and structured data, Google reviews, the enquiry form, the move to hosting and ongoing support.
