GlobalPost — international shipping with a calculator, a B2B portal and a 40–70% discount off direct rates
Платформа міжнародної доставки з калькулятором у hero, оплатою через LiqPay і окремим B2B-контуром: договір, постоплата, персональний менеджер.
GlobalPost is a Ukrainian international shipping and logistics company, an official partner of FedEx, DHL, UPS, DPD and Raben. Operating since 2011, with branches in Slovakia and Poland, delivering to 200+ countries. The platform combines a B2C calculator with online payment, a B2B portal with a dedicated account manager, and a full turnkey customs-clearance cycle.

Context and brief
Courier operators sell their rates only through corporate contracts. A private customer or small business pays the retail price, which is 2–3 times higher than the wholesale one. GlobalPost buys volume from several carriers at once and resells the same service at a discount. This only works if the customer can see the exact price for their shipment within seconds — no back-and-forth with a manager, no hidden surcharges, no surprise at checkout.
The site’s job is to show the competitive edge (40–70% cheaper) within one screen, calculate the exact cost in 30 seconds, and complete the order with payment via LiqPay in 2 minutes. Separately — a landing page for B2B with a contract, deferred payment and a dedicated account manager.
The calculator as the main CTA
The calculator in the hero block is the primary conversion point. The user selects the type (documents or parcel), the country of origin and destination, dimensions and weight. There are presets — “like an iron / a pair of shoes / a ream of paper / a vacuum cleaner / a printer / an iMac” — everyday items with known sizes, so there’s no need to measure with a ruler. The calculator returns prices from all carriers at once (FedEx, DHL, UPS, DPD), and the customer picks the best one.

What we did
A hero with a transparent offer and social proof
The first screen communicates three things at once: official status (a FedEx/DHL/UPS/DPD partner), a 40–70% discount, and social proof — 60,000+ shipments, 4.8★ on Google Maps, 200+ reviews, 200+ countries. The “Calculate cost” CTA is the primary action, leading down to the calculator below. An alternative path for those who already know what they’re shipping — a “Ship it” button right in the header.
A “us vs going direct” comparison
The biggest objection is distrust: “why is it this cheap, is this actually official?” We address it right after the hero: a stark table with six destinations, the carriers’ real rates struck through, GlobalPost’s price highlighted in red, the discount shown in a green pill. 5 kg via FedEx Economy to six countries — a 65–70% differential.
Real jobs instead of an abstract portfolio
Instead of “they trust us” — concrete cases with a destination-country flag, cargo type and carrier. COP30 in Brazil in 8 days via DHL Express. Temperature-controlled food samples for Gulfood Dubai in 6 days via FedEx Priority. Recurring Etsy shipments to the US with a ~70% saving via UPS Standard. A 25 kg relocation to Israel — a 66% saving. Door-to-door documents to Germany in 3 days for €37.

Social proof and a 4-step process
Reviews are pulled straight from Google Maps (with an avatar, a date and a five-star rating) and made clickable — the “All reviews on Google Maps” button leads to the profile with 200+ reviews. Alongside it — a “How does it work?” explainer: 4 steps from the quote to receiving a tracking number.

Objection handling + a classic FAQ
A unique block, “What if…? Here’s the honest answer” — the company itself lists the sharpest client doubts (“what if it gets lost”, “why is it so cheap”, “what about customs”, “isn’t it simpler to go through FedEx directly”, “isn’t Ukrposhta cheaper”) and gives short, direct answers. Next to it — a standard FAQ with schema markup, Yoast-SEO friendly and structured-data friendly.

A separate funnel for B2B
A business user has a different motivation: a contract, deferred payment, a predictable budget, a dedicated account manager. For them there’s a separate page, /for-business-customers/, with a dark header (immediately signalling a different track) and an industry-segmented grid of solutions: agriculture, e-commerce, light manufacturing, artists, IT, food, medical, small and medium business, partners.

Technology stack
WordPress as the CMS, a custom theme global_post. LiteSpeed Cache + PageSpeed optimisation (visible in the DOM via the .pagespeed.ce and .pagespeed.jm classes). Yoast SEO for metadata and the sitemap. AIOSEO for additional schema.org structure. The calculator is a standalone JS module hitting a REST endpoint against the partner-rates backend. LiqPay as the payment gateway. A separate personal account on the subdomain cabinet.globalpost.ua for tracking order history and repeat orders.
Result
The site funnels three audiences into one place: the private sender (quick calculator → payment → shipment), small e-commerce (a steady flow of 200+ parcels/month), and the corporate client (a contract + a dedicated account manager). By positioning hard on “the same FedEx/DHL, 40–70% cheaper”, the site doesn’t compete with the carriers’ own sites on price — it competes on transparency and speed of checkout. 60,000+ shipments and 4.8★ from 200+ reviews provide direct social proof and help overcome the “too cheap to be trusted” objection right on the first screen.
