DEN Ukraine — a redesign for a Kyiv property management company
A property management site redesign: front end from a Figma design, a custom WordPress theme instead of a broken ACF, plans with a calculator, two languages and a launch with no search losses.
DEN Ukraine (denuprav.com) is a Kyiv company that has managed residential and commercial property for 22 years: it finds tenants, controls payments, looks after the property and reports to the owner. The old site ran on an outdated theme with a broken ACF Pro and was hard to edit. We redesigned it: built the new site from a Figma design, wrote a custom WordPress theme for it, moved all the content and the blog across, and then launched the new version on the client’s domain without breaking a single old link.
Technology stack
WordPress with a custom theme, no page builders and no ACF. In place of ACF we use our own fields engine: every page block is a separate admin tab with a “show block” switch, and every template has its own set of fields. The front end is built with gulp + Sass, with the Inter font hosted locally. Two languages (Ukrainian and Russian) run on Polylang, forms on Contact Form 7, and GA4 analytics and the JivoSite chat were carried over from the old site.

The home page
The home page is made of 13 blocks and takes a visitor from “who we are” to an enquiry: who we work with, who it suits, services, work stages, the company, cooperation formats, properties, the payment model, reviews, FAQ, an SEO text and the form. The client edits or switches off any block on their own.

Plans and calculator
The plans page takes its cards from the Formats block on the home page, so prices never need editing in two places. Below it sit a comparison table for up to four plans and a calculator: property type, package, number of properties and average rent give the monthly and yearly cost straight away, and the client sets the minimum amount and its note in the admin.

Inner pages
Separate pages for the three lines of work — investors, commercial and residential property — share one template with their own texts, card icons and form. There is an About page with the company’s history by year, case studies with a page for each property, contacts and the blog.

The blog
We moved 130 articles from the old site and styled the article list and the article page in the new design. Article URLs stayed the same, so the search rankings built up over the years were kept.

Enquiry forms
Every page ends with an enquiry form: property type, district, name, phone, email. Field labels and hints are set per page, while the texts of the “Request a call” popup and the post-submit message live in a home-page block, separately for UA and RU. We tested every form with real submissions, and the emails arrive where they should.

The move to the client’s domain
The whole redesign was done on a copy of the site on our server, and the live denuprav.com stayed untouched until the client accepted the work. Then we moved the new version to the client’s hosting together with a WordPress update and checked 274 old URLs from the Ukrainian and Russian sitemaps: every one opens, so no redirects were needed.
The mobile version
On a phone the header shrinks to the logo, a call button and a burger, and menu items with sub-pages open as an accordion.
Summary
We did all the work on the new version: the front end from the Figma design, a custom theme with our own fields engine instead of the broken ACF, plans with a calculator, forms, two languages, the move of 130 articles and a launch on the domain with no search losses. Now the client changes any text, photo or plan in the admin on their own.
