Ukrposhta International for OpenCart — Ukrposhta shipping abroad with the rate in the cart and CN22/CN23 declarations

Ukrposhta International for OpenCart — international shipping with Ukrposhta, with the rate right in the cart. The customer enters an address abroad — and at the delivery step sees the “Ukrposhta abroad” group: a parcel and a small packet, by air or surface, with the price Ukrposhta calculated for their country, the cart weight and the box. The manager creates the international shipment from the order page, prints the CN22 or CN23 customs declaration and the label and sees the status — no manual calculator and no Ukrposhta cabinet. One licence covers OpenCart 4, 3 and 2.3. For WooCommerce there is a separate version — Ukrposhta International for WooCommerce.

What you need. A contract with Ukrposhta for international shipments and eCom API keys with international access: the eCom Bearer for the rate in the cart, the user token for the sender, shipments and forms. Your Ukrposhta manager or api-support issues the keys; without them the group does not appear in the cart. Honestly about testing: the module is built on Ukrposhta’s official international shipments API documentation (edition of 23.07.2026) and run on clean OpenCart 4.1, 4.0.2, 3.0 and 2.3 with answers in the format of that documentation; it has not yet run on a live Ukrposhta contract. What the customer sees

At the delivery step the customer sees the “Ukrposhta abroad” group with the options you switched on and that Ukrposhta accepts for their country: a parcel and a small packet, by air or surface. The price is Ukrposhta’s own rate for their country, the cart weight and the box, converted from UAH to the store currency. An option Ukrposhta gave no price for is not shown: for example, Ukrposhta does not take small packets to Poland — so only the parcel is left there. For addresses in Ukraine the group never appears.

Rates for all options are requested at once and cached for 6 hours, so a repeated delivery step does not wait for Ukrposhta. If Ukrposhta does not answer in time, the cart does not ask it again for 5 minutes and does not slow down the checkout.

What the admin gets

• Delivery options: which types to show, the name in the cart, weight limit, sort order; geo zone, tax class and countries you do not ship to. With Pro — also EMS and the PRIME small packet, markup in percent and fixed, rounding up and free shipping above a total.
• Ukrposhta API: eCom Bearer, user token, an optional separate Bearer for tracking, the dev.ukrposhta.ua sandbox. Tokens are stored encrypted and never printed in the form.
• “Save and check the connection” asks for the rate of a 1 kg parcel to Poland, then checks the token and the sender. Nothing is created in your Ukrposhta cabinet.

• Packaging: weight for products without weight, packaging weight, a default box; when the product sizes are filled in, the box is built from them. Bulky parcels and declared value — with switches.
• Customs: shipment category (a separate one for EMS — Ukrposhta does not take EMS with “Sale of goods”), the product field to take the HS code from (for example, MPN), default code and country of origin, product description in Latin letters — the English name or a transliteration.
• The sender is created in Ukrposhta right from the settings (sole proprietor, company or private person, address in Latin letters), or you paste the UUID of an existing sender.

• Shipment from the order page. The “Ukrposhta International” panel builds a draft: type and transport from the option the customer chose, weight, box, recipient in Latin letters (transliterated from the order, editable), goods for the declaration with HS codes and value. Lines with the same code are merged to Ukrposhta’s limit — 4 lines, 5 for EMS.
• Checks before sending: vague names (Gift, Souvenir, Accessories…), over 32 characters, Cyrillic, HS code length for the US and the EU — the module stops them before the request to Ukrposhta.
• After creation: the tracking number in the panel and in the order history, PDF of all forms, CN22 or CN23 and the label, “Refresh status”, deleting the shipment. With Pro the shipment is created by itself on a chosen order status, statuses refresh every hour, and a delivered order moves to the status you chose.

How it works — step by step

1. Keys. The “Ukrposhta API” tab: eCom Bearer and user token, “Save and check the connection”.
2. Sender. The “Sender” tab: create the sender in Ukrposhta from the shop data in Latin letters or paste the UUID of an existing one.
3. Options. The “Delivery options” tab: switch on the status and the types you need, choose the geo zone.
4. Customs. The “Packaging and customs” tab: the field with the HS code, default code and country, description in Latin letters.
5. Cart. A customer with an address abroad sees “Ukrposhta abroad” with Ukrposhta’s prices; the order keeps the shipping method and cost.
6. Shipment. On the order page — “Create shipment”, then the PDF forms and the status. With Pro — automatically on an order status and with hourly sync.

How much it costs

UAH 890 — a lifetime licence. One payment, no yearly fees: Pro features, module updates and technical support. One key fits the builds for OpenCart 4, 3 and 2.3.

One key — one domain. Moving the shop — release the licence on the old domain on the Licence tab and activate it on the new one.

Trial first, payment later. The 7-day free Pro trial starts with a button on the Licence tab, no card needed. It never starts by itself: a fresh install is the plain Free version. After the trial only the Pro features switch off; the rate in the cart and the shipments keep working.

Under the hood

• Rate — POST /international/delivery-price of the Ukrposhta eCom API for every enabled option in parallel (curl_multi); answers are cached for 6 hours, a “not available” refusal for 12.
• Shipment — the recipient’s address and client in Latin letters, then an INTERNATIONAL shipment with customs items; forms and labels from Ukrposhta’s forms service, statuses from Ukrposhta tracking.
• No core patches. No ocmod modifications: OpenCart events and own tables cc_upintl_shipment (shipments) and cc_upintl_kv (rate cache and a settings copy).
• Tokens — AES-256 with HMAC, no XOR.
• A Pro gate without bricking: when the trial ends, only the Pro features stop.
• Uninstalling (Extensions → Shipping → Uninstall) removes the events and cron jobs, while the cc_upintl_kv table (the settings copy with the encrypted tokens, the sender and the licence key) and the cc_upintl_shipment table (shipment history) stay: the next install brings the settings back, so an update does not reset them. To remove everything, turn on “Remove all module data when the module is uninstalled” on the Ukrposhta API tab (off by default): then the uninstall drops both tables, the settings and the module log.

How to install

1. OpenCart 4: Extensions → Installer → upload cc_upintl.ocmod.zip and click Install. Do not rename the file — its name is the extension code.
2. OpenCart 3: Extensions → Installer → upload cc_upintl-oc3.ocmod.zip.
3. OpenCart 2.3: Extensions → Extension Installer → cc_upintl-oc2.ocmod.zip; without FTP — copy upload/ from the archive to the store root.
4. Extensions → Shipping → Ukrposhta International → Install → Edit: keys, sender, options, customs.
5. OpenCart 4: turn on the phone at checkout (Settings → Option).
6. If our Ukrposhta module is installed with international shipping on — switch that option off there.
7. For Pro: paste the licence key from the e-mail after payment on the Licence tab or start the 7-day trial.
